A wonderful summer day in Hamburg!
It was an absolute dream wedding! There’s really no other way to put it!
We accompanied Niki & Alex from the beginning of the wedding planning, and we already had a few tears in our eyes at the thought that we wouldn’t be meeting regularly for planning meetings anymore. But the big day was still ahead, and our wedding planning team was really looking forward to it.
The Day
The day began warm and sunny. While Jessica prepared everything in the church for the ceremony, Malin was already at the wedding venue, setting up the decorations. In the meantime, Karina transitioned from bride to groom, making sure everyone was happy and relaxed despite the heat. While the bridal couple styled and prepared themselves at The George Hotel, colorful scenes unfolded on Langen Reihe: the Christopher Street Day and its parade were set to start just minutes before the bride’s departure in her wedding car directly in front of the hotel door. The departure of the parade was delayed so much that all the floats were still in front of the door when the bride stepped out of the hotel. And believe it or not, it was fantastic: the brightly dressed people on the floats set off confetti cannons, cheered, and celebrated the bride even before she could get into the bridal car. That was a fitting start to the beautiful wedding of Niki and Alex.
There was still plenty of confetti to go around on this day! After the wedding ceremony at the church in Hamburg-Barmbek, the bridal couple was also greeted with a shower of confetti and could toast to their newlywed life in the bright sunshine before heading to the Alster in Hamburg with the guests. Here, there was laughter, food, dancing, and celebration well into the night. The wedding party at one of Hamburg’s most beautiful locations was simply wonderful! But see for yourselves:
